Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position specializing in MedSurg/Cardiac care with night shifts and MI RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital telemetry unit with a focus on MedSurg/Cardiac patient population
• 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No floating required
• Alternating weekend schedule
• Participation in a standard holiday rotation is expected
• Uses Cerner Powerchart for charting
• First-time travelers are accepted and encouraged to apply
• Responsibilities include providing care to telemetry patients with cardiac and medical-surgical needs
• Holiday coverage follows a standard rotation
• May be put on call based on census needs

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical surgical nursing experience required
• Step down or similar experience is a plus
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
