Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a LA or compact RN license, Epic experience, and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

Work in the ICU of an academic medical center
Patient ratio is 1:2 with an average daily census of 10
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15)
Every other weekend required
Floating limited to other ICUs when necessary
Epic EMR experience required
May be assigned to an emergency response team with expectations to remain onsite during emergency events
Unit accepts first-time travelers
Royal blue scrubs required
Candidates must live at least 65 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted

Requirements

Active LA or compact RN license
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI (AHA only)
Two years of ICU nursing experience required
Epic charting experience required
NIHSS certification preferred
