Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a LA or compact RN license, Epic experience, and night shift availability.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU of an academic medical center
- Patient ratio is 1:2 with an average daily census of 10
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating limited to other ICUs when necessary
- Epic EMR experience required
- May be assigned to an emergency response team with expectations to remain onsite during emergency events
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Candidates must live at least 65 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted
Requirements
- Active LA or compact RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI (AHA only)
- Two years of ICU nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- NIHSS certification preferred
