Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist with 18+ months Level 1 trauma experience for night shifts at a large hospital campus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level 1 trauma center supporting over 30 operating rooms, 6 ICUs, a 70+ bed ER, and approximately 700 inpatient beds
• Night shift schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12 hours)
• Cases include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, emergency and OR imaging, and trauma procedures
• Use GE and Siemens X-ray equipment, including surgery/C-arm
• Cerner EMR charting required
• Floating within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital may be required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• All travelers expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates as needed
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be auto-approved
• Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Any perm or PRN employee must have 12 months separation before being eligible to apply as a traveler for this assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of X-ray experience, including Level 1 trauma and OR/C-arm procedures
• Current BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) and ARRT certification required
• IN or Compact state radiology license required for start; pending acceptable if start is 2-4 weeks out (license required if applicable)
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university required
• Experience with Cerner EMR required
