Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an X-Ray Technologist with 18+ months Level 1 trauma experience for night shifts at a large hospital campus.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Level 1 trauma center supporting over 30 operating rooms, 6 ICUs, a 70+ bed ER, and approximately 700 inpatient beds
- Night shift schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12 hours)
- Cases include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, emergency and OR imaging, and trauma procedures
- Use GE and Siemens X-ray equipment, including surgery/C-arm
- Cerner EMR charting required
- Floating within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital may be required
- First-time travelers are welcome
- All travelers expected to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates as needed
- Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) may be auto-approved
- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Any perm or PRN employee must have 12 months separation before being eligible to apply as a traveler for this assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of X-ray experience, including Level 1 trauma and OR/C-arm procedures
- Current BLS (AHA or RQI accepted) and ARRT certification required
- IN or Compact state radiology license required for start; pending acceptable if start is 2-4 weeks out (license required if applicable)
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university required
- Experience with Cerner EMR required
