Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry unit position requiring a KY or compact RN license and EPIC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work on the Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4-6
• Responsibilities include O2 protocol and non-invasive airway management
• Must utilize computerized documentation with EPIC
• Role includes rapid response team activation as needed
• Peripheral line care and non-invasive airway management are core aspects of this position
• Computerized documentation and routine use of EPIC are expected
• Night shift position with 12-hour shifts
• Adherence to standard hospital isolation and PPE procedures is required

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent Telemetry or related nursing experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR required
• Peripheral line care and management skills needed
• Ability to adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Two professional references required for consideration
