Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit night shift position requiring 3 years of recent PICU experience, prior travel assignments, and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
• 12-hour night shifts required
• Occasional floating to NICU, CVICU, IMU, or Burn ICU as needed
• Caring for critically ill pediatric patients
• Epic EMR is used and recent experience is required
• May provide care in multiple critical care units as needed
• Responsibilities include monitoring, assessment, and intervention for high-acuity pediatric patients
• Auto offer extended with 3 days or less RTO (excluding holidays)
• Adherence to strict standing dress code and fit test requirements

Requirements

• Active AR or Compact RN license required prior to start
• Minimum 3 years of recent PICU experience required
• At least 1-2 prior travel RN assignments required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required before starting
• Must have recent Epic EMR experience
• Must pass FIT test; no facial hair allowed unless for religious belief
• Candidates must be nicotine free
