Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift contract requiring NRP, BLS, ACLS, AWHONN fetal monitoring, and a VT or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
12-hour night shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am
Care for laboring mothers and newborns in both the delivery room and operating room
Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
EMR and additional technology details may be discussed during orientation
Biweekly orientation sessions are provided
Schedule requests are approved at the manager’s discretion
Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment
Candidates are encouraged to have their own vehicle due to limited public transportation options

Requirements

Active VT or compact RN license is required
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certifications required
Experience caring for newborns at delivery, in the delivery room, and in the OR is preferred
Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
