Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification and proficiency on GE MRI equipment for a 20-week outpatient assignment.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient MRI department using GE 1.5T Artist scanner
• No floating or coverage in other departments required
• Uses Epic and McKesson as the charting and PACS systems
• Three 12-hour day shifts per week with no weekends or holidays required
• No call or standby required
• Tech assistants are available for departmental support
• Duties include performing MRI procedures and starting IVs as needed
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Negative drug screen required for consideration
• Any color scrubs may be worn; scrubs are not provided
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted, subject to local rate rules
• No specific radius restriction applies

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Active ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment required
• Must be able to start IVs
• Familiarity with Epic and McKesson systems preferred
• License required if applicable
