Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry night position requiring a KS or compact RN license and ACLS/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital on a 21-bed Telemetry unit
• Primary patient population is cardiac with telemetry monitoring
• Must float between Telemetry, Pulmonary, Med Surg, Ortho, and Rehab as needed
• Assist with COVID patients if required
• Night shifts, 12 hours in length
• Cerner is used as the EMR system
• Responsibilities include floating to various units based on facility needs
• Must be flexible to assist with different patient populations including rehabilitation and orthopedic patients
• Team members are expected to provide coverage and collaborate across departments
• Night shift assignment
• No BSN required for this role

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must be able to read cardiac rhythms and manage drips
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred or must be a quick learner
