Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Clinic position in an acute care setting requiring a CA RN license and oncology certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care oncology clinic setting
• Day shifts, 8-hour shifts starting at 8:30 a.m., with every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a clinic environment
• 12 hours of orientation provided at start of assignment
• Must pass competency tests on sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes during orientation
• Candidates must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the last year
• Professional references must include one supervisor within the last year and one peer or supervisor within the last three years
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• ONS or ONCC oncology certification required
• COVID vaccination required
