Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a current CA license and BLS to provide patient care in a skilled nursing and outpatient setting.

Details

Work in a skilled nursing facility with some outpatient therapy responsibilities
Patient population consists of individuals requiring rehabilitation to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
Schedule options include Sunday-Thursday, Tuesday-Saturday, or Monday-Friday
Position may require floating to a nearby sister facility within walking distance
Documentation is completed using Net Health EMR

Requirements

Active Physical Therapist license in California required if applicable
Current BLS or BCLS certification required
SNF experience preferred; mentorship is available for those with 0-1 years experience
Strong documentation and time-management skills required
Flexible and collaborative work approach preferred

Additional Information

Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing setting
Work closely with an interdisciplinary care team
Mentorship provided for newer therapists with less experience
Open to candidates seeking different weekly schedule options
Business casual or scrub attire is recommended
