Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Rehab inpatient position requiring recent acute care and travel assignment experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient Acute Rehab unit
• Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient population includes acute rehab and medical/surgical cases
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Strict nail policy: no artificial or acrylic nails and nails must be shorter than 1/4 inch
• First time travelers will not be considered; prior travel experience is required
• Local candidates are accepted but will be offered a reduced rate according to the facility's radius rule
• Team members are expected to discuss contract extensions with their manager at least 45 days before contract end
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
• All offers are extended automatically
• Scrub requirements are not specified

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care or long term care experience
• At least 3 completed travel assignments (12-week contracts) required
• Medical/surgical and inpatient rehab experience required
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address
