Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with an active AZ or compact license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications for a night shift position in a Level IV Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care ER environment with 30 private rooms, including a six-room EDOU observation unit
• Includes 6 fast track beds for minor non-urgent issues and a seclusion room
• Average nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• Average of 100 patients seen per day, including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Supported by 5 techs during peak hours
• 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week
• Uses Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication system
• Level IV Trauma Center with a diverse patient population
• Orientation consists of 8 hours
• Scrub colors may be any color except all black; scrubs are not provided

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
• Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA), and TNCC certifications required
• Experience with trauma, cardiac, and neuro patient care
