Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and strong Med/Tele background.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Float Pool covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
36 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday required
Floating may be required to similar units
Tele test administered on first day of orientation
Uses Meditech EMR, but experience can be waived for qualified candidates
No on-call responsibilities
Must pass a Telemetry test on the first day of orientation
Every other holiday coverage is required
Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible at a different rate
First-time travelers will not be considered

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Current BLS certification required
A minimum of 3 years Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Travel nursing experience required
Flu vaccination required prior to start
