Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 18 months of Cath Lab experience, ACLS and BLS certifications required, at a teaching hospital.

Responsibilities

• Short-term acute care, teaching hospital setting
• Work in the cardiac catheterization lab
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient population includes adult cardiac patients
• On-call required for evenings and weekends
• Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
• EPIC charting experience
• Locals accepted at the same rate
• All time off requests must be included for consideration; additional time off is unlikely to be approved
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Scrub color is ceil blue
• Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces
• Must complete time-sensitive online modules promptly upon assignment confirmation
• Assignments at Cleveland Clinic locations are limited to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6 month break before return

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months Cath Lab Tech experience required; 2 years preferred
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) or RCIS preferred
• Pending license accepted
• Must be nicotine free with negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen
• License required if applicable
