Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of SNF experience for a post-acute care assignment serving multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Work in a post-acute setting covering skilled nursing facilities in West Union and Waukon, IA
• Assignment is for 13 weeks with potential for extension
• Day shifts are available, Monday through Friday or shifted schedules such as Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
• No on-call or holiday coverage required
• Use of Net Health EMR system
• May be required to supervise up to one COTA
• Productivity expectation is 82% for therapists, including evaluation, group, and concurrent therapy time
• Paid mileage and drive time if traveling between locations in a single day
• New graduates will be considered and on-the-job training is available
• No scrubs or dress code information provided
• Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted under local rate rules

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Willingness to travel between facilities as needed
• SNF experience preferred
