Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring Neuro IR expertise, critical care experience, and a VA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital
• Predominantly works with neuro interventional radiology cases
• All procedures are performed in the lab setting
• Shift is 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, 10-hour shifts
• On-call required 3 times per week with a 1-hour response time
• Required to be available for 1-2 shifts per week on-call and 1 weekend per month
• Holiday coverage includes one major and one minor holiday as assigned
• Uses Epic EMR system and experience is required
• Responsible for providing specialized care for neuro interventional radiology procedures
• Must be able to respond onsite within 1 hour for on-call shifts
• 1-week unit orientation provided at the start of assignment
• Scrubs are provided and maroon in color

Requirements

• Valid VA or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• Must have neuro interventional radiology experience
• Proficiency with starting and managing IVs required
• Critical care nursing experience required
• Must pass ECG exam and demonstrate ability to read and interpret ECG strips and lethal rhythms
