Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) travel contract, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• Care for critically ill pediatric patients

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent PICU experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Advanced 9th Edition from AAP required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Professional references required, number may vary based on home state

Additional Information

• Deliver critical care to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Floating may be required based on unit needs
• Proof of required certifications must be provided
• Dress code and scrub color will be provided prior to start
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
