Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) travel contract, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Details
- Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment duration
- Care for critically ill pediatric patients
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent PICU experience required
- Current BLS and PALS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Advanced 9th Edition from AAP required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Professional references required, number may vary based on home state
Additional Information
- Deliver critical care to pediatric patients in the PICU
- Floating may be required based on unit needs
- Proof of required certifications must be provided
- Dress code and scrub color will be provided prior to start
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
