Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) position requiring a TX or compact license and recent pediatric critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital
• Pediatric patient population requiring critical care
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week travel assignment
• No local candidates accepted; must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients
• Candidate must submit at least one professional reference according to the state requirements
• All certifications must be current and valid for the length of the assignment
• Not eligible for consideration if residing within 50 miles of the hospital

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent PICU experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certification from AHA or ARC required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
