Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a float Med-Surg/Emergency Department position in a critical access hospital in Hawaii, requiring a current HI RN license and strong Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a critical access hospital setting
• Float between Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department units
• Care for a mixed patient population requiring both med-surg and emergency nursing skills
• 12-hour variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Epic EMR is used and strong experience with this system is required
• Will provide care as both a med-surg and emergency nurse as needed
• Position is rapid response crisis and may require adaptation to changing patient care needs
• Holiday and weekend coverage is expected

Requirements

• Active and current HI RN license is required
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Strong working knowledge of Epic EMR is required
