Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a lead position requiring the ability to work independently and proficiency with GE nuclear medicine equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a nuclear medicine department primarily performing nuclear medicine studies
• Lead technologist role with independent responsibilities
• Adult patient population with a focus on cardiac nuclear medicine studies
• Procedures require use of GE camera and Nuc Trac through Cardinal Health for dose tracking
• Shift options include four 10-hour days (6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday) or five 8-hour days with variable scheduling based on patient volume
• No on-call or weekend shifts required
• The position is for a lead technologist expected to function with minimal supervision
• Utilizes Nuc Trac through Cardinal Health for dose tracking and workflow
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Two professional references required for consideration

Requirements

• Current CNMT certification (ARRT or NMTCB) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience required
• Experience operating GE nuclear medicine cameras and systems required
• Must be able to independently perform cardiac nuclear medicine studies
• Travel experience preferred but not required
• Flu vaccination required; exemptions not accepted
• License required if applicable
