Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a current MA RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a hospital setting
• Day shifts are 10 hours, typically scheduled 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• One night of call during the week and at least one weekend on call required during the 8-week assignment
• Assignment duration is 8 weeks
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from facility
• Responsibilities include providing post-anesthesia care for surgical patients
• Staff may be required to complete pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• RTO (requested time off) must be provided during initial consideration
• Interview availability must be communicated at time of application

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Must provide proof of COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccination (medical exemptions allowed)
• Cannot have been employed at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility in the last 6 months
