Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment in New Hampshire, requiring NH or compact RN licensure and charge experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM for 12 hours per shift, totaling approximately 36 hours per week
• Patient ratios up to 6:1, supported by 2 LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and a House Supervisor
• Utilizes Epic EMR system; prior experience with Epic is highly preferred
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts as needed
• No call or block scheduling available
• Local travelers are not eligible for this position
• Collaborate on care planning and implement nursing standards for individual patients
• Candidate will work as part of a supported team including LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and a House Supervisor
• Travel pairs may be considered only if able to work separate shifts
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration with a maximum of 5 days; additional requests may not be approved
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Scrub/dress code and RTO policies must be strictly followed

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current
• Minimum of 3 years current Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• A completed skills checklist for Medical Surgical within the last year and one supervisory reference from the last two years required
• Candidate must have a personal vehicle for travel
