Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position requiring recent EPIC experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a hospital Medical/Surgical unit
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week
- Patient population includes various diagnoses with frequent isolation cases such as COVID and Monkeypox
- Uses EPIC as the EMR system; EPIC experience is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include caring for patients requiring medical and surgical nursing, including those in isolation
- Must adhere to all isolation protocols and PPE requirements
- No requests for time off (RTO) will be accommodated during assignment
- Interview and offer process will be managed directly by the hiring manager
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med/Surg specialty
- Current BLS certification required
- Recent experience charting with EPIC EMR system
- Relevant work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
- Professional references from similar roles within the last 2 years
