Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license and LDRP experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the OB/Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Unit features 4 LDRP rooms and 5 Nursery/Postpartum rooms
• Patient assignments per national labor standards based on patient needs
• Utilizes Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis Supply Stations, and bedside fetal monitors
• 12-hour night shifts required
• On-call coverage as needed
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
• Scrubs are provided
• Includes a three-day training on Meditech and OBIX with unit-specific orientation
• Completion of medication testing required within the first two weeks onsite

Requirements

• Active Alaska RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP, STABLE, and HS AED
• Experience with Meditech and OBIX preferred
