Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experience and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

Position is in a Level 3 trauma acute care hospital cardiac cath lab
Work in one of three cath labs performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and EP procedures
Procedures include heart catheterizations, peripheral interventions, pacemaker implants, ablations and vital sign monitoring
Uses Epic for charting, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impellas, and Carto mapping
Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Call one night per week and every fourth weekend, with possibility to pick up extra call
Occasional late team coverage 1-2 times per week based on procedural needs
Assist physicians with heart catheterizations, peripherals, pacemaker implants, ablations, and intra-procedure monitoring
Ceil blue scrubs are provided
All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
Orientation of 8 hours provided, with department-specific training details discussed during interview
Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
Local candidates within 80 miles may be accepted at a reduced pay rate

Requirements

Minimum 2 years recent cath lab experience required
Experience with vascular, coronary, device implants, and monitoring vitals required
ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required
Proficiency with sterile technique required
Willingness to complete the MN Net Study within two weeks of offer acceptance
Experience with EP procedures and Epic charting highly preferred
RCIS or RCES certifications preferred
License required if applicable
