Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years experience in cardiac and vascular studies for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cardiac department performing echocardiograms and vascular studies
• Procedures include echo exams with bubble study and contrast, segmental pressures, arterial legs, carotid, and venous insufficiency exams
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Floating to all facilities within a 75-mile radius may be required
• No blocked scheduling requests allowed
• Perform comprehensive echo exams and a range of vascular studies as part of daily responsibilities
• Maximum of 5 days RTO per 13-week assignment; no holidays or blackout dates off
• Permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year from previous employment to be eligible
• Floating may occur to other facilities within the 75-mile network as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer
• Active license required if applicable
• Copies of relevant certifications are required for consideration
• Must provide driver's license and utility bill with matching address from within the last 3 months
• Two supervisory references required
• No local candidates accepted; permanent address must be outside a 75-mile radius
