Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position providing comprehensive liver care, requiring a VA or compact license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ICU specializing in comprehensive liver care and transplant cases
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Provide specialty care to liver and transplant patients in the ICU
• Facility upholds a drug and tobacco-free workplace and enforces a natural nail policy
• Orientation will not begin until all fingerprint and background check results are complete
• Holiday coverage is required as time off is not guaranteed around holidays

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 12 months recent ICU experience required
• Transplant experience highly preferred
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (diploma, Associate, or BSN)
• BSN preferred
• Must not have been employed by the health system within the previous 6 months
• Candidates must comply with facility policies including natural nail and smoke-free workplace
