Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT registration or eligibility for a contract at a Level II Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Center designation
• Serve various care areas including outpatient, inpatient, operating room, ER, NICU, PICU, and adult ICU
• Daily caseload averages 150
• Imaging duties include extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, fluoroscopy, enema studies, and surgical/C-arm procedures
• Utilize equipment such as 3D, GE C-Arm, Medtronic O-Arm, OEC & Elite GE C-Arm, AMS 4 GE Mobile units
• PACS system and Epic charting experience involved
• Day shifts from Friday to Monday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement is a minimum of 16 hours per month and work every other holiday if needed
• No floating between units or facilities required
• Role covers both adult and pediatric patient populations
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Must work every other holiday if required
• Scrub color is Caribbean Blue
• RTO (time off) is at manager's discretion
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology
• Virginia State Radiologic Technologist License required (temporary work allowance for up to 90 days with pending license; license required if applicable)
• At least 1 year of radiology experience
• Proficiency in PACS, portables, C-arm operations, use of contrast, and multiple imaging modalities
