Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN with a current NY license, Epic EMR proficiency, and vascular unit experience for a night shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital vascular telemetry unit
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Position is on the Vascular M5 unit handling telemetry patients
- Must have experience using the Epic EMR system
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- Competency and clinical testing is required with two attempts allowed for passing
- No blocked time off; all RTO must be requested with submission
- More than three call outs in a thirteen-week contract may result in termination and makeup shifts must be completed within six weeks
- Travel pairs are not allowed
- Candidates can only apply for one position at a time
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
- A minimum of 2 years recent experience in telemetry nursing required
- Current certifications from AHA or RQI (e.g., BLS, ACLS)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required
- Medical flu exemptions only; no personal or religious exemptions accepted
- Candidates must not reside within the following NY counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington

SICU is clickie and you can get fired easily. Some providers seem rude to black travelers
