Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN with a current NY license, Epic EMR proficiency, and vascular unit experience for a night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital vascular telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Position is on the Vascular M5 unit handling telemetry patients
• Must have experience using the Epic EMR system
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Competency and clinical testing is required with two attempts allowed for passing
• No blocked time off; all RTO must be requested with submission
• More than three call outs in a thirteen-week contract may result in termination and makeup shifts must be completed within six weeks
• Travel pairs are not allowed
• Candidates can only apply for one position at a time

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• A minimum of 2 years recent experience in telemetry nursing required
• Current certifications from AHA or RQI (e.g., BLS, ACLS)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Medical flu exemptions only; no personal or religious exemptions accepted
• Candidates must not reside within the following NY counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington
