Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with BLS, ARRT (including Advanced Cert), and Ohio license required to perform screening and diagnostic procedures in an outpatient breast center setting.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in an outpatient breast center, with some support at a satellite location
• Role focuses on both screening and diagnostic mammography at the main site and only screening mammography at the satellite
• Patient caseload ratio averages 10-15 patients per day
• Procedures include screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D mammography using Hologic (Tomo) equipment
• Day shifts with hours rotating between 8:00-16:30, 8:30-17:00, and 9:30-18:00
• Occasional Saturday shifts required
• Holiday weeks may require 4, 10-hour shifts
• Mobile assignments may require variable shifts between 6:30 and 19:00
• Position involves performing both screening and diagnostic mammography (no biopsy responsibilities)
• May provide support at satellite locations as needed
• Holiday coverage and occasional variable shifts are part of the scheduling requirements
• Team support will include collaboration with other technologists and clinical staff

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT certification and ARRT Advanced Certificate required
• Ohio Department of Health license required if applicable
• Experience with digital and 3-D mammography procedures
• Knowledge of Digital Hologic (Tomo) systems preferred
• Outpatient mammography experience preferred
