Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVPICU RN with a valid CA license and pediatric ICU background for a 26-week variable schedule assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a Pediatric Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) within a hospital setting
12-hour variable day and night shifts with a schedule of three shifts per week
Primary patient population includes critically ill pediatric cardiovascular patients
Floats required to other facilities within the health system
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), PICU, and NICU experience preferred
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions
Must be comfortable working variable shifts including both days and nights

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Minimum 3-5 years of pediatric CVICU experience required, or 5 years of pediatric ICU experience considered
Ability to float to other facilities as needed
