Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring cardiac care skills and previous travel nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00 to 07:00
• Care for patients post-cardiac catheterization including balloon pump and Impella support
• Floating required to all campuses as needed
• On-call responsibilities required
• Holiday RTO will not be approved, including days in holiday weeks
• Former permanent employees must have a 6 month waiting period before being eligible
• Key responsibilities include managing critically ill patients and specialized cardiac interventions

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Cardiac care experience including post-cath intervention, balloon pump, and Impella required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
