Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg unit position in Tennessee with a 12-hour day shift and TN or compact license required.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital Med/Surg unit (11 Tower)
12-hour day shifts from 7:00AM to 7:00PM
13-week contract assignment
Care for adult medical/surgical patients
Typical responsibilities include providing nursing care to medical/surgical patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Dress code and other policies will be provided upon assignment
Holiday coverage may be required per hospital policy

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required with no certification expiring within 30 days of start
U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
Must provide at least one professional reference (two if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Local candidates not accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
