Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with charge experience and a valid PA or compact license for a high-volume ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Assignment at a high-volume ambulatory surgery center in the Operating Room
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
• No weekend, on-call, or floating requirements
• SCRUBS provided by the facility
• Responsible for circulating and charge duties in a high-volume ambulatory surgical setting
• Must adhere to required protocols including cardiac monitoring and safety timeouts
• No holiday coverage required for this assignment
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Candidates within 50 miles are considered local at a different rate

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license in hand
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Charge nurse experience required
• Ambulatory OR experience required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and the Universal Protocol (Time Out) procedure required
