Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a MI RN license and prior charge experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care hospital teaching environment
• Works within the Interventional Radiology unit with adult and geriatric patients
• Schedules consist of four 9-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 16:30
• Required to work every other or every third weekend depending on department needs
• On-call is required one night per week from 16:30 to 07:00 and every third weekend from Friday 16:30 to Monday 07:00
• No floating outside of Interventional Radiology required
• Epic is used for documentation
• Role includes responsibility for managing care in a teaching hospital and Level II trauma environment
• Scrub color for this assignment is navy
• Free parking is available on site
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• All time off must be requested at the time of application

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of prior Interventional Radiology experience
• Previous charge nursing experience in a comparable setting required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with pre- and post-procedural care and special procedures required
