Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least two years of experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and expertise in Epic documentation for a hospital position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cath Lab within a short-term acute care hospital
• Adult patient population undergoing coronary and peripheral diagnostic/intervention procedures and cardioversion/TEE
• Average caseload of 18–20 cases per day across 3 cath rooms and 2 EP rooms
• Use of Phillips and Siemens X-ray equipment, Epic EMR, GE Maclab hemodynamics, Acist, and Synchvision
• Shift options are 4x10 hour days (6:30–17:00, 7:30–18:00, or 10:00–20:30)
• On-call up to 2 days per week and every other weekend
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• RN will assist with structural heart, coronary diagnostic/intervention, peripheral procedures, cardioversion, and TEE
• No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13 week contract, and none during first week of orientation
• Free parking is available
• Scrub requirements will be specified during orientation
• All travel assignments limited to an 18-month period, followed by a 3-month break

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Circulating, conscious sedation, and telemetry experience required
• Epic documentation experience preferred
• Structural heart and scrub experience preferred
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
