Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position in Massachusetts requiring travel experience, a MA RN license, and both telemetry and pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool in a hospital setting
• Assignment involves floating to similar units as needed
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Scheduled for 36 hours per week, with shifts every other weekend and every other holiday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to similar departments is expected
• Must be willing to work holidays on an every-other schedule
• Local candidates are accepted but must live at least 50 miles from the facility to receive the travel rate
• First day orientation includes Telemetry competency test

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• Telemetry test administered on first day of orientation
• Flu vaccine required prior to start
