Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist experienced in pediatric imaging and holding an active Florida State Radiography License for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a diagnostic radiology department specializing in pediatrics
- Imaging services include pediatric inpatients, outpatients, portable radiography, OR, fluoroscopy, and trauma cases
- Requires use of portable imaging equipment, C-arms, fluoroscopy, and general radiography modalities
- Day shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Primary duties include conducting a full range of diagnostic imaging procedures for pediatric patients across multiple settings including the OR and trauma
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Professional and supportive pediatric radiology team environment
- Scrub attire requirements as per department policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Satisfactory completion of a Radiography program from an AMA-accredited school
- Active Florida State Radiography License (license required if applicable)
- Current ARRT registration
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Pediatric imaging experience required, with experience in a children's hospital preferred
- Experience in a facility with 500+ bed count required
