Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN with an active CA license and ambulatory experience for a day shift position with weekday-only hours.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the PACU of an ambulatory surgery center
  • Primary assignment in PACU with some floating to Pre-op
  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, with varying start times between 6:00 am and 11:00 am and end times up to 7:30 pm
  • No weekends or call required
  • 50 mile radius rule applies for eligibility
  • Nurses may float between pre-op and PACU as needed
  • Only one holiday off will be approved during the assignment
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing contract

Requirements

  • Active and valid CA RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
  • Ambulatory surgery experience highly preferred
  • Returning travelers must be gone for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
