Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and an active BLS for a day-shift home health assignment.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering 13 counties with varied locations each week
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Requires on-call coverage one Sunday every five weeks
• Every 5th week, schedule includes working Saturday and Sunday admits and taking two weekdays off
• Patient load is adjusted for longer travel days to remote areas
• Must be comfortable working independently across a wide geographic area
• Mileage and travel time are factored into the daily patient schedule
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Dress code requires black, grey, or khaki pants and a polo or scrub top with no prints
• Requires two professional references for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
