Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a PACU RN with a current CA license and experience in ambulatory or outpatient surgery settings.

Responsibilities

Position is based in an ambulatory surgery center environment
Primarily works in the PACU but may float between PreOp and PACU as needed
Day shift, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or on-call duties
Shift start times vary between 6:00 am and 11:00 am, ending as late as 7:30 pm
Assignment duration is 13 weeks
Adherence to a 50-mile radius rule is required
Responsibilities include providing preoperative and post-anesthesia nursing care in an ambulatory surgery setting
Returning travelers must have a minimum one-year break before reapplying
Only one holiday time-off request will be approved during the assignment
Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing the contract

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required unless otherwise specified
Ambulatory or outpatient surgery experience highly preferred
