Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and an active OR license for a day shift assignment in the Portland area.
Responsibilities
- Home health position serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
- Caseload includes up to 6 patients per day with a standard of 30 productivity points
- Patients are assigned to minimize drive time, with a maximum daily travel radius of approximately 60 miles
- Charting is done using Epic Remote Client and Rover with Oasis documentation required
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed but not required
- Mileage is reimbursed at IRS standard rate
- Free parking available
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months and live outside a 50-mile radius to be eligible
- RTO requests should be discussed with the hiring manager; minimal RTO is preferred
- All travelers may be required to float to facilities within the state
Requirements
- Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience
- Current BCLS certification required
- Oasis experience required
- Own transportation is required
- COVID-19 primary series vaccination plus one booster required
