Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 5 years of experience including interventional radiology and mechanical stroke procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a cardiac catheterization laboratory within an acute care hospital
• Responsibilities include Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology procedures, and mechanical stroke interventions
• EP ablation experience is preferred but not required
• Day shift position with 4 shifts per week, each 9.5 hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend and on-call duties required as needed, with a 30-minute callback window
• Patient population includes adult cardiac and neuro-interventional cases
• Scrubs are provided for this role
• Free parking available onsite
• This is a Magnet-accredited teaching hospital environment
• Up to 7 days of requested time off may be auto-approved
• Former permanent staff must be separated for 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• A 75-mile radius rule applies for eligibility; locals are not accepted except for Nuclear Med Tech or CT Tech roles
• One professional reference is required for consideration

Requirements

• Current ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
• Must be a CT registered Radiologic Technologist
• Minimum 3 years of interventional radiology experience, or at least 5 years total experience including IR, required
• Mechanical stroke and scrub tech competency required
• License required if applicable
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine and booster required unless qualified for medical or religious exemption
• First time travelers accepted with at least 5 years of experience
