Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1.5 years of experience and ARRT certification for a night shift travel contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting providing coverage across x-ray, emergency department, main radiology, portables, and possible OR cases if applicable
• Perform all routine radiology procedures, GI/BE portables, and a variety of x-ray exams
• Average caseload is 12-15 cases per shift
• Uses Siemens, GE, and Carestream equipment
• Works with both Epic and McKesson (Change Healthcare PACS) charting systems
• Night shift schedule: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float to various radiology departments within scope as needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Royal blue top and black bottoms or all royal blue scrubs required
• Locals accepted at the same pay rate
• Must be separated from previous employment with the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year to be eligible
• Good communication skills and willingness to adapt to different work areas are expected

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact state license required at the time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1.5 years of radiology technologist experience required
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic and McKesson (PACS) preferred
• Strong customer service skills and flexibility
