Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with at least 2 years of experience and current MO or compact licensure for an Interventional Radiology position.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
  • One night weekday call and weekend call every 4 weeks are required
  • Rotating shifts with holiday and inclement weather coverage required
  • Cerner EMR is used (experience preferred but not required)
  • Locals allowed within a 75-mile radius at a reduced rate
  • Typical duties include supporting interventional radiology procedures and providing care in a high-activity environment
  • Required to work with patients who may have contagious illnesses
  • Work takes place in a healthcare setting operating 24/7
  • RTO (requested time off) must be provided at time of application
  • Travel experience is required for consideration

Requirements

  • Active RN license in MO or compact state required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in Interventional Radiology
  • Physical ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
  • Willingness to work assigned weekends, rotating shifts, and at least 50% of holidays during contract
