Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech with ARRT and BLS certifications for night shifts covering ER, ICU, and OR cases.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital setting with assignments in the X-Ray Tech unit
• Handles radiology procedures for patients in ER, ICU, and OR environments
• Night shifts from Friday to Sunday, 18:30 to 07:00
• Holiday rotation required, with at least 50% of holidays covered during the contract
• Uses Cerner EMR, experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Role involves frequent contact with acutely ill patients, including those with contagious illnesses
• Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts, including holidays and inclement weather
• 75 mile radius rule applies for local candidates; locals may be accepted at a reduced rate
• Dress code and additional work environment guidelines will be provided upon assignment

Requirements

• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Tech experience required
• Must have experience working in ER, ICU, and OR settings
• MO or Compact state license must be active at the time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Ability to perform physical demands such as ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
