Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room with 2 years of specialty experience and GA or compact RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting in a surgical department
• Patient population includes ortho, bariatric, general, and plastics cases
• Requires both scrubbing and circulating responsibilities
• Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Schedule may vary between 6:45am and 7:15pm
• 13-week assignment
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate during surgeries
• Provide nursing care for orthopedic, bariatric, general, and plastics procedures
• Required to request any time off (RTO) up front before offer
• First-time travelers will be considered
• References are needed during compliance but not for initial consideration
• Compliance requirements must be fully met before the start date

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius considered
• Former perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
