Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Post Partum position in Ohio requiring a compact or OH RN license, recent postpartum experience, and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum unit
• Provides care for postpartum mothers and newborns
• May float to units with similar acuity as needed
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Responsibilities include postpartum care for mothers and newborns, including IV starts and monitoring
• Applicants with previous travel nursing experience are preferred
• All professional references must be from a supervisor within the past two years
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years postpartum nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• IV certification required
• IV start skills and L&D experience necessary
• Epic EMR experience required
