Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with inpatient behavioral health experience and prior travel assignments required for an adult inpatient rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is for inpatient rehabilitation within an adult behavioral health setting
• Eight-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• Multidisciplinary team environment
• Epic EMR experience required
• No on-call required
• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations, lead groups, and conduct individual occupational therapy treatments for adults
• Work with patients with neurodevelopmental and/or psychiatric diagnoses
• Initial bi-weekly orientation provided
• Block scheduling is not offered
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be approved
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius at a different pay rate
• Scrubs of any color are permitted

Requirements

• Current MA Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy required
• Significant inpatient behavioral health experience required
• Travel assignment experience is required
• Epic EMR experience required
