Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Charge RN for a Med/Surg position, requiring previous charge experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit with a maximum 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 10-bed floor
• Night shifts with 3x12 or 4x12 hour schedules, alternating weekly assignments and every other weekend required
• No call required
• Potential to float to other departments in emergencies
• Uses CPSI for charting; EMR experience not required as training will be provided
• Responsibilities include charge nurse duties and supporting staff on the Med/Surg unit
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Document requirements include a copy of valid driver's license and SSN
• Limited or no time off (RTO) is requested for this assignment

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with previous charge experience required
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS (PALS preferred)
• Two professional references needed for consideration
